The living room, lounge or originally the drawing room is the area we withdraw to relax, read a book, watch TV or a movie, listen to music, entertain or be entertained in. It’s interesting that the room can have a single function or many as open plan living came into being . There are multiple spaces within one space that need to be designed. When designing a living room there is no right or wrong way to go about it but each design and decision must be justified with well thought out practicality and the argument about its proposed uses and functions.
Klass@Home understands that Living rooms in today’s modern world may also have many functions or be limited to just a few and we often see homes with two living areas. One for the family and the other for “formal entertainment” or socializing. Not everyone advocates open plan living and there are many examples of the spaces divided into separate rooms. In fact with modern day living the need for separate media rooms, studies and dining areas has become more and more prevalent and there seems to be a trend to have the main living rooms and dining rooms connected but separated by movable walls and large opening doors
The living space of a typical habitat can have various furniture items, all planned and incorporated as per pre conceived designs to match our lifestyles and needs. These items could include TV Units, Sofas, loungers, Armchairs, Ottamons, Puffies, center tables, side tables, bar units, crockery units, book shelf unit and many more similar elements.
Dining rooms seem to be the one room in the house that goes in and out of fashion. Conventionally having a separate dining room was something special. Now the open plan dining area seems to be the fashion.
The dining room basically consists of a dining table and a quantity of chairs. Depending on the space available, a buffet, dresser or some sort of serving table is often included. The design of a typical dining room could be orthodox or contemporary, depending upon the preference of the client. The table, chairs and side unit could be of a design, shape, finish and size that compliment each other.
Some people love to have an area rug under the table to define the dining space, this works well when you have an open plan dining space, others love the in fashion at present elaborate chandelier at the center of the table or others more subtle pendant lighting.
Klass@Home strives to recreate these furniture items with an element of ergonomical balance and presses to create living and dining spaces into formal or informal areas with functionality at the heart of the theme.
Inorder to be flexible and convenient for the end user, Klass@Home produces the furniture in various finishes right from laminate, melamine veneer, PU painted, solid wood to glass, fabric, stone and synthetic solid surfaces with the option of selecting core material configurations like marine ply, comm. Ply, MDF, Particle Board.
